Keeping your legs smooth and hair free can be a chore, but you get great results when you use an electric shaver which allows you to whisk away the hairs, without any of the nicks and scrapes you tend to get with a razor.
There are 2 ways to shave your legs with an electric shaver; Dry and Wet:

Dry Shaving

  • Wash your legs with a warm, soapy cloth, then rinse out the cloth and wring away the excess water. Rub your legs with the cloth, starting at the ankle and working upward. This will soften and raise the hairs, making them easier to shave.

  • Dry your legs with a towel

  • Turn on your electric shaver and shave one leg starting at the ankle and working upward, against the direction of growth. Repeat on the other leg.

  • Apply a soothing skin lotion or moisturiser to cleanly shaved legs.

Wet Shaving

  • Turn on the shower, wet your legs and wipe them down with a soapy bath mitt or washcloth. Rinse away the soap.

  • Cover one section of your leg with shaving foam or gel. We recommend Face Guard which carefully cleanses your skin & softens the facial hair to prepare it for shaving. It then creates a barrier, lubricating your skin & protecting it to allow closer contact from the shaver, while active ingredients work to penetrate & moisturise, leaving your skin feeling ultra smooth.

  • Move the shaver up your leg, against the direction of hair growth. Add more Face Guard to your leg and continue to shave, whisking away the hairs.

  • Rinse your legs with water. Dry your skin gently without rubbing. Soothe your skin with a hydrating lotion.

Tips

  1. Clean your electric shaver after each use. Most electric razors have detachable heads. Pop off the head and use a small brush to remove the hair from inside the shaving mechanism. Shaver Guard blasts away all of the unwanted hair left hanging around after a shave. Its anti-bacterial properties then work hard to break down stubborn skin oils or left over pre-shave products, to leave your shaver completely clean & fresh every time you shave.

  1. Exfoliate your legs to prevent ingrown hairs. This stimulates your skin and keeps your pores open. Put a small drop in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together and distribute the scrub evenly over your legs. Rinse the scrub off well before you shave your legs.
